The Daughters of Charity in Kicukiro District, Rwanda, have been supporting their community since 2002. The sisters provide education, food assistance, and support to vulnerable populations, including the poor, disabled, and elderly. Recently, rising electricity costs have made it difficult for them to sustain their operations. To address this, they have developed a program to install solar panels at their facility to ensure reliable lighting and power for essential functions. This initiative will reduce their electricity costs and enable them to continue supporting those in need.
