In the Los Laureles Community, there are 37 families in the 0 and 1 socio-economic strata, who are enduring very difficult situations due to not having an aqueduct that provides adequate potable water, which would promote the consumer’s health and good development of crops. The community’s health has been affected by not having potable water for daily consumption, to water plants, and properly wash the coffee and other agricultural products. In addition, depending often on rainwater has not been easy. This situation has also affected relationships between neighbors, because water doesn’t run through all properties. The project will benefit 132 people – 22 families initially, in the short term; 11 families who will be added in the medium term.
